Verizon Limits Exculsivity Deals to Benefit Small Carriers
In a letter to Rep. Rick Boucher (D-Va.), Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam said today that it would let small wireless providers carry its exclusive handsets within six months and that any new exclusivity arrangement the company enters with handset makers will last no longer than six months – “for all manufacturers and all devices.”
